Trinity Catholic School

Our Mission

Trinity is a Catholic learning community devoted to the Common Good, which calls all by name to the knowledge of the Father and love of the Son, enriched by the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We follow the virtue and values of Aspiration, Integrity, Resilience and Respect; if you are Catholic you may know these as Gospel Values, but if not, put simply, they are Human Values. We are a Catholic school for all with standards for all; for people of all faiths or none, we will support all students to become the best version of themselves.

As a Catholic school we believe that we are created, Imago Dei, in the image of God.  Therefore, when we treat each other with respect, we are honouring God’s creation.  Equally we value self-respect for exactly the same reason.   When we link the respect of others as well as ourselves, we are following that most important commandment of Christ that we should love our neighbour as much as we love ourselves.

Life is not always easy and does not always follow our plans.  We teach the value of resilience in equipping our young people to be able to confront challenge and overcome adversity.  We are guided and supported by our faith in Christ and grow stronger by experience.  Because of this we are able to extend our support to others that also face hardship in our local and wider community.  We encourage students to set the highest standards possible and to lead purposeful fulfilling lives that can contribute to the common good.

As it says in St John’s Gospel ‘Then you shall know truth and the truth will set you free’.  We believe we are liberated by our faith and are therefore ready to accept responsibilities as members of a wider academic and spiritual community.  We value honesty, reliability and loyalty as virtues that will stand our students in good stead whilst at Trinity and throughout the rest of their lives.

We encourage students to set high ambitions for themselves.  We also endeavour to teach our young people that we can also have aspirations for others in our community as well as ourselves.  In many cases these will be people that we might never meet or know personally such as through the charitable enterprises that we support through fund raising.  We also provide high quality advice and support for students moving into post 16 education.

The transition team at Trinity work throughout the year to ensure a broad and unique program of transition events are available to our primary feeder schools.

Once your child’s place at Trinity has been confirmed, you will receive a series of correspondence from us, outlining the individual transition events that are available to your child and family; we believe that the move to secondary school is a big step for the family as well as the child, and therefore our events aim to support you all as you join our school community.

Members of the Transition Team will visit every child that will be joining us, at their primary school, in the Summer Term of Year 6. During this visit, students will have the opportunity to ask any questions that they may have about the transition to Trinity Catholic School, whilst we also speak to teachers to make sure that we build up a clear picture of each child that will be joining our school community in the following September and can support them in the most effective way when they join us.

Our Lady of Lourdes

Becoming an academy in January 2021, having joined the Our Lady of Lourdes MAC, Trinity Catholic School is now part of a wider family of schools. This has presented many exciting opportunities for outreach, community and collaboration.

Our Multi-Academy Company (MAC) was formed in 2014. Now at six schools we provide Catholic based education throughout Worcestershire and Warwickshire across our three tier schools (First, Middle & High) and our secondary school. Our Multi-Academy values the whole child, and our schools offer a broad and balanced curriculum which meets individual needs.

Our school’s contain vibrant communities of learners and teachers, as well as staff who ensure our Multi Academy can operate day to day. Our well developed Central Team delivers services across our schools and beyond and have a rising profile for delivering much needed services and support within and external to our Multi Academy via amongst others, our Teaching School, Catering Team and Lourdes IT.
