Welcome to the Year 4/5 Class Page
Welcome to Year 4/5! We are very excited to begin our learning journey together this academic year. This term, our topic is World War 1 and our first text we will be reading is War Horse by Michael Morpurgo, which is an exciting and engaging read.
In Year 4/5, you will receive homework every Wednesday in the homework book. We expect homework to be completed on time and returned by the following Monday. Homework is designed to consolidate learning and provide children with an opportunity to practise key skills. It will run largely in line with what we are covering in class each week.
PE days will be Wednesday and Friday, children are to come to school wearing their PE uniform.
Please also ensure that your child brings in a water bottle each day.
