Welcome to the Year 6 Class Page

Welcome Year 5 and Year 6 to the new school year. I am excited to teach you this year. There will be a lot of great learning taking place with a lot of great discussion. We are set for another busy and active term. In our English learning, we will research and write diaries and Myths from around the world; building suspense for our readers and using different devices to advance the action in our stories. In Maths, we are learning about Place Value and covering the 4 rules of number – Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, division. We will also be solving some challenging problems involving fractions.

PE will now be on a Wednesday and Thursday and children should arrive in correct PE uniform for these days. Please ensure earrings are able to be removed before the PE session begins.
